Woon Hung

Born and bred in Singapore, local designer Yvonnve Chia Woon Hung's interest for accessories-making began in a local Art College. In her early years, she showcased her pieces at the Singapore Changi Airport and sold her creations along the streets of Orchard Road.

Upon graduation, she entered the world of visual merchandising and store design, which led her to travel to many countries. Her years of business travel across different cultures gave her fresh insights. Innumerous forms touched her, as if lifting her to a new stage - of intensity, clarity & vision. Her best designs came while she was alone and traveling - in solitude, there was inspiration. And it was here, a new design definition emerged.

WoonHung is both soft and strong… modern and feminine… bold and elegant. An underlying energy focusing on clarity & essential detail. An intrinsic simplicity that is signature to WoonHung.

She remains close to her Singaporean root. Her greatest desire is showcasing made-in-Singapore designs to the international arena, creating a truly Singaporean brand, intricate & beautiful to behold.
